On the night of 30th March 1851 Emily (35) was living with her husband William (41) and their children: Emily Eliza (12), scholar; Alfred William (8), scholar; Ernest Lionel (4), scholar; and Francis Colin (1). All the children were shown as being born born in St. Pancras.

Adamthwaite lived in the property with his wife Isabella (41) and daughter Mary (5). Richard Shaw (29), a veterinary surgeon, was also lodging at this address. Emily was the only servant listed.
